If you carefully read the article about the new "Elsewhere" studio, the only thing we know is that they got "STORYTELLING EXPERTS" who had works on multiples guenuinely good titles in the past but we don't know how many of them they got and it's also tell us nothing about the qualities and the talents from other really important members such as graphics desingners and musics composers, also nothing on the programmation side and engines used. So, at the ends, it doesn't guaranty a futur successfull Tripple A type of game... Not at all. It is just that maybe, MAYBE, we will have a good story in a futur release it's all... Nothing to be very excited about really!

I think the major flaw with the whole "you can pay $70 for it, or come to game pass" thing is, xbox players are the only who dont want to buy games. Sony and Nintendo players have no problem with buying a full price game. And as somebody who plays primarily on ps, i gotta say, if there's something i dont wanna pay full price for, i wish list it and wait for a sale. Sony does a lot of digitsl sales. I just dont see xbox getting people to move over with out high quality exclusives. Especially if game pass goes up in price again.

Why the turn around on their games going to other platforms? There were multiple "they're taking away from Xbox gamers" statements in older videos when exclusives were talked about going to other platforms or some new games not being certain. Now that Xbox has done it its "I've always been okay with it and want more people playing" Love your channel, been watching since before fallout 4, but the moving goal posts are clear man

The problem for me is if they increase the price of gamepass and say it’s because of cod for the people who don’t play cod they have to suffer because of it

Ngl, I am team Xbox since 2010. But if these rumours are true and more negative decisions are on the horizon, i might switch to playstation sooner than later.

COD in gamepass could be like free play days or limited hours access, this way it could make sense going to GP day one, just to tease like a demo, and encourage people to buy after trying it to keep playing

Day and date on game pass is unsustainable, I don't no why they don't leave it for a year and cycle games on and off which makes more sense to me

Bethesda games are staggeringly hollow and empty, I have no idea how people can like them, how you can call them RPGs.

They wildly and aggressively market Hellblade before there was any demand for it and now don’t market the game at all in the weeks leading up to release…. TieguyTravis said he had friends at Xbox studio marketing and was told the situation there was dire ( no budget). You always need to be careful about accepting “ leaks” like that on face value but it sure looks like that. Its really weird and frankly bad business. How are the obviously capable people at Xbox flailing this badly, time after time?

Sony’s first party games are going to be day and date releases on PC. If the Xbox player base was big enough and willing to pay for games, Sony would be putting their games on Xbox as well.

I don't think putting cod in gamepass is a bad thing. At the moment,the Xbox sales are probably the smallest part of the revenue of cod. They get most of their money from playstation, pc and the in game purchases. I think it will grow gamepass, as long as the marketing is spot on

Microsoft SUCK at marketing. When PlayStation has a new first party game coming out, it’s almost impossible to miss it. They have it plastered on billboards, on buses, subway stations, TIMES SQUARE, television ads etc. When Xbox have a first party game coming out you could blink and miss it, they really think social media posts are ample. They say they wanna bring their games to as many players as possible, well maybe they oughta stop being so cheap with the marketing.

I use to like nt until Microsoft bought them much like rare, I just want gears on my PlayStation so I can dump my xbox.

I don't care about a new studio seeing as they've downsized their existing studios and The Initiative is the "AAAA" studio they created years ago. I don't believe you can just manufacture studios and make amazing games, let alone efficiently. This, for the same reason you can't just put random top talent musicians together and expect they make a Metallica or Rolling Stones level band. Studios, like any creative endeavor, need to grow organically by people that come together to create something they themselves want to create.

Day One Game Pass shouldn’t be a thing. Feel like it just hurts the game and the studio in the long run.

The reason it's going to game pass. Is because It sells significantly better on PlayStation. Just a quick google search it sells almost 5 times better on ps .

Day 1 game pass for any big title just seems really daft from a business point of view as there's no longer an incentive to buy many games. Even with PSN which has a large window between launch and adding to the catalogue, I spend probably 20% on gaming per year compared to what I did 2 console generations ago. All it does is encourage more live service pricing models.

Maybe because I can afford GP n unlimited games regardless i think they should def hold games back from gp. Atleast for a a year or something. After a year then sure... add it to the catalog. But at release u gotta buy it. Problem is they're desperate.. n u should never make yuge decisions out of desperation.

XBOX OWN ACTIVISON AND COD SALES ARE ROCKET HIGH ON PLAYSTATIONS NOT XBOX’S SO THAT WHERE THEY WILL GET THERE MONEY AND WHATEVER SALES IT ACCUMULATES ON PC.
